Leading up to the trials for the 2025 Spiders Representative program we will be conducting special “Girls Only Basketball sessions” for girls currently playing in our years 3-6 local competition which will run at St Leos Light of Christ basketball centre, commencing on Monday 12th August.
These Monday sessions will run for 7 weeks from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for girls in school years 3, 4, 5 and 6, giving players a higher level of coaching so that they can develop their basketball skills and then take these newfound skills to their current team and hopefully grow as a player.

Venue: St Leo’s Light of Christ Indoor courts

Parking is on Yardley Avenue and surrounding streets
Times: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
To bring: Sports gear, basketball and drink bottle
Dates (7): August 12, 19, 26 and September 2, 9, 16, 23
Cost: $10.00 per session
Hornsby Spiders is proactive in building girls’ basketball in the under 12 and under 14 age group and would love to help grow your basketball skills. We have an incredible group of coaches who would love to help strengthen you as a player.
This opportunity only comes once a year and is a great way grow your basketball skills and confidence. At the end of the 7-week program, we will give you more information about Representative Basketball at Hornsby Spiders in 2025 (trials for this will be in October).
