This program is for boys and girls turning 8, 9 and 10 years of age in 2024 who intend to trial for the 2025 Spiders Representative Program and wish to understand what it takes to become a Spiders Representative Basketball player.
We reserve the right to move your child to a more appropriate skills class if they do not have the skills/experience required for Academy. We offer other skills programs for children who are not eligible or ready for this program – see the menu: TRAIN/SKILLS CLASSES for more information.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE:
– Must be currently playing in Hornsby local competition
– Must be intending to trial for the 2025 Spiders Representative Program
– Have at least two full seasons of playing experience
– Possess basic skills and game play understanding
Dates: Intake 1 – Friday’s, 2nd February – 31st May
There are no classes on 29th March, 19th April, 26th April
Time: 4:10 – 5:10pm
Venue: Brickpit Stadium Thornleigh (Court 1)
Cost: $305 (15 weeks, including singlet)
