Specifically for parents, new coaches, or anyone new to basketball who will be coaching and/or managing a new team in after school Hornsby Basketball competitions. Coaching and managing notes provided for all participants.
Course content:
– Roles and responsibilities of a coach and/or manager
– Teaching skills and how to get your team to play together
– Player substitutions, use of time outs and basic game strategies
– What if scenarios/problem solving/resolutions
