Kristina Moore returns home for 2026 NBL1 campaign
The North Sydney Basketball community is buzzing with the news that Spiders junior Kristina Moore is returning to The Brickpit for the 2026 NBL1 season. This signing marks a momentous homecoming for the elite local talent, who is set to bring a wealth of international and collegiate experience back to the club.
Moore’s career began with an impressive junior run alongside fellow Spiders talents Jess Sancataldo and Nicole Hutchins. Her rise continued into the Waratah Championship squad, where she was crowned the competition’s Rookie of the Year, before she headed off to college in the US.
From 2018 to 2022, Moore was a stalwart for the University of Florida, featuring in 99 games and starting 75. She then transferred to Georgetown University for her graduate year, starting 30 games.
Upon returning to Australia, Kristina donned the green and black once more for a five-game stint in the 2023 NBL1 season. In that brief but spectacular run, she averaged a remarkable 25 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Her professional journey then took her overseas, signing with Phantoms Boom in Belgium, where she helped the team reach the league semi-finals and earned an All-Belgian League Honourable Mention. Last NBL1 season, playing with the Bulls, Moore finished fifth in MVP voting after averaging an outstanding 28 points per game on 50% shooting, alongside 7 rebounds.
Currently, Moore is playing for Panserraikos WBC in Greece for the 2025–26 season. She has been a key starter throughout late 2025, recording multiple double-digit scoring games, including a 19-point effort against Proteas in November 2025.
We could not be more excited to have such an elite, local talent representing the club again. No doubt, Kristina will bring leadership, a scoring punch, rebounding, and playmaking, perfectly complementing the side’s young talent.
Moore’s return is highly anticipated, with her experience and skill expected to make her an immediate leader and game-changer for the Spiders in their 2026 campaign.
