A note on this year’s AGM
Following a resolution of the HKBA Board, Basketball NSW (BNSW) has been delegated responsibility for administering and managing the 2026 AGM on HKBA’s
behalf. The formal AGM Notice, including the full agenda and any notices of motion received, will be issued to all members no later than Wednesday 3rd June 2026, at least 21 days before the meeting as required under clause 24 of the HKBA Constitution.
What is an AGM and why does it matter?
The AGM is the most important meeting in HKBA’s calendar. It is your opportunity as a member to have a say in how the association is governed. At the AGM, members receive reports on the association’s activities and finances, consider any motions put forward by members, and elect the volunteer directors who govern the association on your behalf throughout the year.
