Our “Pre-Rep Trials” Skills Camp is for boys and girls in U12, U14 and U16 age groups who are intending to trial for the 2024 Hornsby Spiders Representative Program.
Camp information (note this camp is not for beginners to basketball.)
These challenging sessions consist of skills, drills and small sided game play for children who have local competition playing experience and possess an intermediate (or higher) skill level
Season 2024 Representative Program
To help our players become even more competitive next season one of our key strategic player development goals will be to raise the levels of physicality and defensive skills to support individual and team defence.
The ability and willingness of every player to rebound, guard the ball, guard away from the ball, and play team defence will be amongst the top determining factors for player selection into the 2024 Spiders Representative program, and these aspects will be integrated into this camp.
Qualifying age groups:
Under 12 Boys & Girls – born 2013, 2014 & 2015
Under 14 Boys & Girls – born 2011 & 2012
Under 16 Boys & Girls – born 2009 & 2010
