This camp caters for boys and girls, aged 6, 7 and 8 years of age, featuring fun skills, challenges and games.

This camp is for boys and girls 10 to 16 years of age, and is best suited to children with some basic basketball skills and game play experience

3on3 Event 12’s (ages 10-12)

This camp is for boys and girls 10 to 12 years of age, with some game play experience.

• Playing divisions are:
  • Division 1: Rep player level;
  • Division 2: Non-Reps (can have 1 rep player in a team)
• Date:  Thursday, 18th July
• Time: 9:00am-2:00pm
• Main Venue:  The Light of Christ Centre (St Leo’s Catholic College) – end of Yardley Ave, Waitara
  Overflow Venue: The Brickpit Stadium – 1a Dartford Rd, Thornleigh
• Cost: $100 per team. Teams to consist of 3-4 players.
• Uniform: teams to provide their own uniforms
• Prizes: winning teams in each division will receive prizes

3on3 GAME RULES

• Scoring – as per normal (inside 3 point line 2 points; outside 3 points)
  Drawn score stands other than in finals games (first to score wins)
• Fouls – as per normal (shooting or before shot). 5 fouls per player
• Possession – changes on a made basket (team scored on must advance ball to 3 point line before scoring). This is the same for a defensive rebound or when the ball is intercepted/stolen by the defence
• Ball size = size 6
• Player substitution’s – on any whistle (foul/violation)

Venue location will be determined on basis of team entry: first in basis go to St Leo’s. If your team is allocated to the Brickpit and are eligible for finals, they will need to make their own way to St Leo’s.

3on3 Event 14’s and 16’s (ages 13-16)

This camp is for boys and girls 13, 14, 15 and 16 years of age, with some game play experience.

• Date: Friday, 19th July
• Time: 9:00am – 2:00pm
• Venues
  • Main Venue: The Light of Christ Centre (St Leo’s Catholic College), end of Yardley Ave Waitara
  • Overflow Venue: Brickpit Stadium, 1a Dartford Rd Thornleigh
• Team Registration closes Tuesday 16th July at 5:00pm
• Prizes: Winning teams in each division will receive prizes

WHERE WILL YOU PLAY?

• Teams will be notified of their playing venue on Thursday, 18th July
• Teams will be entered on a first in basis to St Leo’s, then the Brickpit

PLAYING DIVISIONS

• Boys Divisions
• Girls Divisions (subject to sufficient entries)
• Division 1: Rep player level
• Division 2: Non-reps (can have 1 rep player in a team)

DAYS SCHEDULE (approximate times)

8:30am: Teams arrive and sign-in
9:00am: Pool games commence
12:00pm: Pool games conclude (TEAMS AT THE BRICKPIT ELIGIBLE FOR FINALS WILL NEED TO GO TO ST LEO’S)
12:30pm: Semi-Finals games commence
1:45pm: Semi and Finals completed
2:00pm: Team presentation/player and team photo opportunities

TO ENTER/FORMAT

• You need to enter a team of between 3 and 4 players
• Teams will be placed in pools, and play other teams in their pool (round games)
• Games are first team to 21 points or 10 minutes in length
• Each team will play four games with the top two teams from each pool advancing to semi-final games

TEAM ENTRY

• Each team will play a minimum of 4 games
• Team entries are $100
• Playing uniforms are the responsibility of each team
