3×3 Basketball Challenge for 12’s (ages 10-12)

This camp is for boys and girls 10, 11 or 12 years of age, with some game play experience.

• Date: Monday, 20th January 2025
• Time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
• Venue:  The Light of Christ (St Leo’s Catholic College Waitara), end of Yardley Ave Waitara. Courts are in building next to oval – STREET PARKING ONLY
• Cost: $101.20 (incl GST) per team (3-4 players per team)
• Teams to provide their own uniforms

PLAYING DIVISIONS

• Boys Divisions
• Girls Divisions (subject to sufficient entries)
• Division 1: Rep player level
• Division 2: Non-reps (can have 1 rep player in a team)

TO ENTER/FORMAT

• You need to enter a team of between 3 and 4 players
• Teams will be placed in pools, and play other teams in their pool (round games)
• Games are first team to 21 points or 10 minutes in length
• Each team will play four games with the top two teams from each pool advancing to semi-final games

3×3 GAME RULES

• Scoring – as per normal (inside 3 point line 2 points, outside 3 points)
  Drawn score stands except in finals where first to score wins
• Fouls – as per normal (shooting or before shot). Maximum 5 personal fouls
• Possession – changes on a made basket (team scored on must advance ball to 3 point line before scoring) This is the same for a defensive rebound or when the ball is intercepted/stolen by the defence
• Ball size 5
• Player substitutions on any whistle (foul/violation)

This camp is for boys and girls under the age of 9 years, and is best suited to children with some basic basketball skills.

• Camp times: 9:00 – 10:30am
• Venue: The Light of Christ Centre (St Leo’s Catholic College) end of Yardley Ave Waitara. Court is located in building next to oval. Street parking only.
• Price: $30.00 (incl. GST) per day
